Weekly Update – Friday September 6, 2024

KITCHEN DRAIN DISPOSAL
Please do not place items in the garbage disposal that do not break down well, these items can cause water backups in your pipes which may result in water damage, such as: bones, coffee grounds, eggshells, onion skins, potato peels, pasta, rice & grease.
As a reminder, cooking grease is one of the major causes of residential sewer main clogs, the grease clings to the insides of the pipes and causes blockage. When disposing of cooking oil/grease, an efficient way of doing so is pouring the grease into aluminum foil and disposing of it directly in the trash. Thank you!
