Weekly Update – May 17, 2024
Posted By mcasillas on May 17, 2024
Happy Friday Everyone!
BALCONIES & POTTED PLANTS
Water and other liquids applied to plants, objects, floor, or walls must be applied in such a manner that no liquids drip off the balcony or patio. Pots, planters, and containers must be kept in waterproof saucers.
No objects of any kind may be thrown, shaken, or swept off balconies. Please be mindful of your neighboring unit and their belongings. Thank you!
ADVICE:
Anchor anything which might blow off or fall off your balcony.
RULE:
Close umbrellas when not in use.
PET WASTE
As a reminder to all residents with pets, you are responsible for your animal and any pet waste that they may leave in the common area. We are seeing areas around the property that are being severely damaged due to pet urine and this results in costly maintenance fees to repair. Please do not allow your pet to urinate on planters, railings or anywhere in the common area other than in the dog run.
Owners found responsible for allowing their pets to defecate or urinate in the common area other than the dog run may be subject to the violations process which can include fines to the owner.
RIGHT OF PASSAGE – INCOMING VEHICLES RIGHT AWAY
When a vehicle is coming from southbound on 6th Ave and preparing to turn right into the garage and at the same time someone is leaving the garage and turning right onto 6th Ave. You may question, who has the right of way?
Per the California Driver’s Handbook (Section 7: Laws & Rules of the Road)
Entering Traffic: When entering traffic, you must proceed with caution and yield to the traffic already occupying the lanes.
A vehicle leaving the parking garage does not have the right of way and must always wait for the incoming vehicle. Please remember, the parking garage speed limit is 5 MPH.
“When we are no longer able to change a situation – we are challenged to change ourselves.”
