Weekly Update – July 28, 2023

Happy Friday Everyone!

Hello Coral Tree Plaza Community.

FIRE HORN – CITY INSPECTION (WEST BUILDING ONLY)

The City of San Diego is required to perform an in-unit inspection for the West (3634) building to ensure the Fire Horns were installed correctly and sound off. I have been given two (2) inspection dates, Tuesday August 1st, and Wednesday August 2nd. The city will provide A&D Fire & Management with the time slot they will be arriving on the morning of the inspection.

The city inspector mentioned it will take approximately five (5) minutes or less in each unit and appreciates everyone’s cooperation so they may move quickly throughout the building. In the event the inspection cannot be performed in one (1) day, the City inspector will be required to come back on Wednesday August 2nd.

Please follow up with Management to let me know if you will be home for this inspection or if we may use the key on file.

FOB AUDIT – 2023

Each year Management is tasked to perform a fob audit to ensure we do not have any fobs roaming around that should not be active. This is a safety/ security deterrent to ensure all fobs in our system are correctly allocated to your unit.

I am requesting each unit to provide me with their fob #, this fob # can be located on your fob and has up to seven (7) numbers. I will be contacting each unit directly to perform this fob auditfor Coral Tree Plaza.

GARAGE SPEED & HEADLIGHTS

The speed limit in the garage is 5 miles per hour. Please drive slowly and safely when in the garage, as people may be walking to and from their parked vehicles. Also, when pulling out of the garage please use caution and be mindful of the two mirrors mounted to the exterior of the garage entrance for blind spots.

Per the Coral Tree Rules & Regulations:

“All drivers must maintain safe and proper speeds and observe a maximum speed of 5 miles per hour while driving in the Parking Garage. There may be blind spots present. It is recommended that your headlights be turned on while driving in the Parking Garage.”

ELEVATOR PERMITS

Management noticed all six (6) elevator permits are set to expire (today) on July 28, 2023. The state department was contacted to acquire the eleavtor permits so I may place on display in each elevator. Unfortunately, I was notified that the elevator state inspector is approximately 1-2 years behind schedule.

Management requested an Acknowledgement letter from the state department that will be used as a temporary permit to be placed in each of our elevators once received. It was also mentioned that as long as Coral Tree keeps up with the monthly and Annual services with our elevator service company, we will be fine until an inspection date is scheduled.

“Dream big and dare to fail.”
