WATER SHUT OFF – STAINLESS STEEL PIPE REPLACEMENT – MAY 24, 2023
Building Engineer (Victor Lopez) discovered a pin hole leak from a 5FT stainless steel pipe that services the boilers and booster pumps. ProTec placed a clamp on the pipe as a temporary solution, the part has arrived and has been scheduled for repair on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 9AM.
This will affect both buildings (East & West)
The repair will require drainage of the water contained in the booster pumps and boiler system. This will result in NO water to both buildings for the duration of the repair and will take a full day to complete (Approximately 8 Hours). We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we do ask that you plan ahead. A few tips that were shared with me that can be quite useful for you while there is no water access are:
- Fill up the bathtub with water and you can use the water sitting in the tub to place in the toilet water tank to allow flushing.
- Have bottled water available.
- Place water in pots in the event you need to boil water.
Please be advised it may take some time to get the water back to normal temperatures coming from the Boilers. As soon as the repair is performed, and water has been re-established to the boilers and booster pumps, I will send an email to notify you.
ELECTRONIC WASTE & CLOTHING HAUL – MAY 25, 2023
Thank you all for participating in the roll-away dumpster spring cleaning. Many of you have asked for an electronic waste and clothing removal pickup. I have scheduled this with Global Disposal. They are coming to the property on Thursday May 25, 2023, to pick up the E-Waste and old clothing.
This year we will be doing things a little bit differently. Instead of leaving all electronic waste and clothing in a parking spot in the above-ground parking lot, we are asking that the donation/waste items be gathered by the dumpster rooms of each building. The dumpster rooms are located at the end of the small walkway just North of the main lobby doors to both buildings. There are concrete areas just outside of the dumpster rooms for owners to leave their items. Only staff is permitted into the dumpster room so please do not attempt to access the dumpster rooms.

To reduce clutter, please drop off all electronic waste during the day of Wednesday, May 24th. The Electronic Waste & Clothing Haul will be picked up between the hours of 6:00AM – 5PM on May 25th according to Global Disposal. Below is a list of all approved items for pickup.

TENNIS COURT WINDSCREEN REPLACEMENT
If you regularly use the tennis court, I’m sure you have noticed the East facing windscreen is beyond repair. The Board approved to replace the windscreen and our tennis court vendor was on site two weeks ago to take measurements and place the order. It will take approximately 2 weeks until the windscreen arrives in our vendors possession and will schedule with myself for installation ASAP.
