WATER SHUT OFF – STAINLESS STEEL PIPE REPLACEMENT
Building Engineer (Victor Lopez) discovered a pin hole leak from a 5FT stainless steel pipe that services the boilers and booster pumps. ProTec placed a clamp on the pipe as a temporary solution, the part has arrived and has been scheduled for repair on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 9AM.
The repair will require drainage of the water contained in the booster pumps and boiler system. This will result in NO water to the building for the duration of the repair and will take a full day to complete (Approximately 8 Hours). We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we do ask that you plan ahead. A few tips that were shared with me that can be quite useful for you while there is no water access.
- Fill up the bathtub with water and you can use the water sitting in the tub to place in the toilet water tank to allow flushing.
- Have bottled water available.
- Place water in pots in the event you need to boil water.
Please be advised it may take some time to get the water back to normal temperatures coming from the Boilers. As soon as the repair is performed, and water has been re-established to the boilers and booster pumps, I will send an email to notify you.
NO ACCESS TO STRANGERS
We all need to do our part in making sure we keep those that do not have any business at Coral Tree out of the property. It was recently brought to my attention that a transient made it into the lobby area but could not get in through the secondary door and left after a few minutes. Please be mindful of your surroundings and who is walking behind you.
Do not grant access to anyone you are not familiar with, they can be directed to use the Call Box to get in touch with their point of contact. I recommend notifying your guests, dog walkers, cleaning personnel, etc. of this request to enhance the safety of Coral Tree. If someone is walking behind you and does follow you in, good practice would be to wait and let them use their fob to open the secondary door leading to the mailroom / elevators.
PET RETREAT (KEPP GATE CLOSED)
It has been brought to my attention on multiple occasions and I have also noticed the Pet Retreat gate left in the open position myself. Please make sure to close the gate when you are no longer using the pet retreat. This is to keep neighboring residents from having access to the pet retreat as they do not pick up after their pets and take the doggy bags.
A common are key is required to open the gate when you enter and exit the Pet Retreat, I do have common area keys available for purchase at the cost of $35.
