Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update

Happy Friday Everyone.

Hello Coral Tree Plaza Community.

Break Down Boxes:

After the long weekend, the onsite staff arrived Tuesday to find a plethora of unbroken-down boxes on various floors of the parking garage in the recycling areas. There are a couple of reasons that we ask for you to please break down your boxes and slide them behind the recycling bins. By breaking down the boxes and putting them behind the bins, you are not taking up space in the recycling area with the boxes. Especially during a long weekend such as Labor Day weekend, the recycling bins will fill up quickly. The other reason is that it is far easier to transport the broken down boxes up to the trash room recycling dumpster. Maria and sometimes Victor will spend a lot of unnecessary time breaking down boxes when they could be servicing other parts of the property. Residents have also been pulling their names off of the shipping labels and leaving the boxes unbroken down in the recycling area, making it impossible to find out who is responsible. Rather than seeking out one person, I am asking for the whole community to please be considerate of the onsite staff and your fellow neighbors.

Elevator Issues:

Also during the long weekend, the West building freight elevator was off and on functioning properly. The technicians came out on site to inspect and repair when necessary. But several residents emailed me this week stating that they called the after-hours line and never got through to the customer care team. The Customer Care department inquired with our after-hours service and reviewed the call logs only to find that the calls from Coral

Tree Plaza residents were never received. So I’m just going to quickly remind everyone that if you are trying to reach the after-hours line for an HOA-related emergency, please call (800) 400-2284. For other emergencies that may be life-threatening please always call 911.

Pool Goods:

The umbrella that goes into the table at the pool, and the leaf skimmer have both deteriorated or ripped over time, from weather and general use. I ordered a new umbrella and pool skimmer approximately two weeks ago now and when they arrive we will install them down at the pool. This is just to note that sometimes small common area items will all of a sudden disappear, but a replacement has already been ordered, like with different lights that go out on the promenade or in the hallways. If you aren’t sure what the status of a replacement item is, you can always reach out to the onsite office and ask about this. The shipping delays right now are the worst that I have seen in my time at the property, so most all items that are ordered do not come for weeks, if not a month. Thank you for your understanding and patience with this.
