Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update
Happy Friday Everyone.
Hello Coral Tree Plaza Community.
Kitchen Stack Cleanout – West Building:
The kitchen stack cleaning this week was a bit of a learning experience for all involved. After several meetings with the plumbers, Victor and I got more clarity about what was needed from the association and from us to get the lines properly cleared. This is why we had to reschedule work for the D and E stacks to Wednesday and Thursday next week. On Wednesday the plumbers will be working in the D stack and on Thursday they will work in the E stack. Units on floors 2, 7, 12, and 15 are going to have plumbers entering their unit to cable from their kitchen. And for all other units in the stack, the plumbers may ask for access. If you are not able to grant access or would prefer for the plumbers not to enter your unit, please be mindful of your kitchen sink. Sometimes during the process of clearing out the kitchen stack, clogged lines can back up into lower floor sinks. So if the plumbers are cabling down from the 7th floor, they want to know if there is any backwater coming up on the 5th or 6th floor. The plumbers will begin work at 9:00 am on both days, they will finish for the day when they complete each stack, which typically takes 4-6 hours to complete.
Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation as we worked out the “kinks” in the project this week. It has been a learning lesson for both Victor and me.
Plumbers will be cabling from units on floors 2, 7, 12, and 15.
Stealth Monitoring Equipment Installation:
Previously the installation of Stealth Monitoring equipment was scheduled for early August, but due to shipping delays, Stealth Monitoring was unable to fulfill this timeline. They are now planning to install the equipment in the parking garage on Wednesday, September 7th. The equipment consists of additional recording devices in the SDGE rooms and speakers on each floor of the parking garage. Please expect to have technicians working in the parking garage throughout the day and drive cautiously.
As a reminder to the association, this equipment is going to be live during the evenings, and report any suspicious activity to the police, in hopes of deterring trespassers on the property.
Onsite Office Hours:
On Monday, September 5th, all the onsite staff will be off of work.
The onsite office will be open Tuesday, and Wednesday. I will be available remotely on Thursday and unavailable on Friday.
Please feel free to reach out for non-emergency issues via email at Tboelts@actionlife.com and for urgent matters please call 800-400-2284.
