Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update
Happy Friday Everyone.
Hello Coral Tree Plaza Community.
Construction Hours:
Just a friendly reminder to all those who have recently moved into the community. The construction hours for remodels in units are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Attached is the announcement from when the hours were officially changed. This also extends to any loud work inside of units, including hammering, drilling, and general construction noise. Please keep the peace by adhering to these hours.
Fobs:
Thank you to all who have reached out about the potential new fob rules. At this point, the rules have not been voted on by the board of directors. One purpose of sending out the possible rule change is to get feedback from homeowners. Many of you sent in emails and called to express thoughts about the possible new rule. The board is considering this and will decide accordingly at an upcoming open meeting. Additionally, another set of new fobs has been ordered for all who have asked for additional fobs. Please remember that if you lose a fob, it’s important to report this to management so that the fob can be deactivated and will not be used by others trying to access the property. Once the new fobs arrive, I will send out a subsequent email to the association notifying every one of the fobs.
Garage Elevator Landing:
Starting next week, Pro-Tec and I will be working together to upgrade the elevator landing areas. Specifically the carpeting in the areas. The small tables in the elevator landing area on each floor will be removed. The idea is to spruce up the area and possibly even have an accent wall in the elevator landing area. Given the increased crime rate in San Diego, it’s best not to give extra incentives for thieves to take things from the garage. The tables in the garage elevator landing areas do not serve a utility purpose and will be removed. Similarly, we will be removing the glass tables in the mailroom lobbies of both buildings, in their place will be some type of shelving for packages to be placed on. Before the pandemic, the association had plans to remodel and upgrade the mailroom lobbies of both buildings. The pandemic derailed these plans and the association was not able to circle back to the project until now. The board will begin working again on the remodel of the mailroom lobby areas.
