Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update

Hello Coral Tree Plaza Community. Next week will be a busy one for the community, if you know someone who does not regularly check their email in the community, please take a moment and ask them to check the weekly update.

Electronic Waste and Clothing Donation:

Just a friendly reminder to everyone that Global Disposal has scheduled an Electronic Waste and Clothing donation next week for Thursday (May 12) morning. They will be coming early in the day to pick up. On Wednesday, May 11 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm you can drop off your items to donate or have discarded in the areas directly out front of the dumpster areas. All items collected during that time will be securely placed in the trash rooms overnight to prevent anyone from looting. As a reminder, here are the donatable/electronic waste items:

-TVs

-Computers

-Monitors

-Laptops

-Tablets

-Cell Phones

-Gently used clothes and shoes

Above Ground Lot Painting:

The parking lines have faded to an unseeable point at the above-ground parking lot. On Wednesday, May 11, Victor and another Pro-Tec Engineer will powerwash the lot and repaint the lines. The lot will be coned off on Tuesday night. All guests at the association that day are welcome to use the guest parking down in the garage or find available street parking. The lot will be reopened as soon as the paint is dry.

Elevator Piston Repair:

During routine maintenance this week, 24 Hour Elevator saw that the seals around the pistons in the garage elevators are leaking. They have scheduled repairs on the elevator piston seals on Monday, May 9. Each elevator repair is going to take approximately 4 hours to complete. 24 Hour Elevator will only work on one elevator at a time, so access to the garage remains using either the other building’s garage elevator or across the promenade down by the pool. This work is covered under the maintenance contract with 24 Hour Elevator. Please plan accordingly on Monday for your building elevator to be down for approximately 4 hours. 24 Hour Elevator has not yet identified which building they will be starting on.

Boiler Repair:

This week a small leak was detected in one of the two boilers that supply hot water to the buildings. The boilers are no longer under warranty with either the manufacturer or the original installer. So parts were ordered and will arrive over the weekend. On Tuesday, May 10 Pro-Tec Plumbing will be onsite to replace the part in one of the boilers. This is not expected to interrupt the hot water supply to the association. Pro-Tec Plumbing will come out after 9:00 am just in case there are disruptions to the hot water supply, so all those who need to may still get ready for work comfortably. The boilers were installed during the plumbing project and have been well maintained since their original installation, it is not uncommon for certain parts on boilers to go bad after years of daily usage. Pro-Tec is also going to take this opportunity to replace the filters that we use on the boilers, the extra filters that were also installed during the plumbing project just work as another cleaning method to ensure that all water coming in from the City and going up to units is safe for all residents.
