Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update

Happy Friday Everyone.

Hello Coral Tree Plaza Community.

Balcony Decorations:

After some of the stormy days this past week, Maria spent a great deal of time cleaning up debris that had fallen from balconies onto the promenade. She ended up cleaning quite a bit of faux leaves and greenery. If you have opted to decorate your balcony in some way, you must double-check that everything is secured to the balcony and is not going to fall off onto the promenade. It ends up creating a lot of additional work for Maria when her time is best spent working on other areas throughout the community.

Security Camera Monitoring:

During the executive session board meeting, this week’s contracts were reviewed for overnight monitoring services from Stealth Monitoring. The board will be meeting with Stealth Monitoring within the next week to ask any final questions and hammer out details of the monitoring contract. The board has been taking these extra steps to ensure that the contract meets the needs that the community has for extra security. It is important to ensure that the community is well protected and also that the board sign on to the best contract available. It is for these reasons that the board has elected to meet with Stealth Monitoring and review their proposals. Once the board has come to an agreement on the contracts, another message will be sent out to the community with the details of the contract and the costs associated with the contract. For any additional questions about board action and security measures within the community please see the security update sent to the community on 3/14.

New Board Member:

At the end of December 2021, community member Robin Landeck stepped down from the Coral Tree Plaza Board of Directors because she and her husband moved out of the community. This left a vacant seat on the board. The board has since nominated and appointed Doug Clark to the board and he has graciously accepted the position. He will take Robin’s seat as the Member at Large. The board looks forward to working with Doug and is excited to have a full fivesome working for the community once again.

Pet of the Month:

No this is not an April fools joke. It is actually a new month and we have a new pup to celebrate! Jack is a relatively new addition to the community although his owners have been around for a little while. He enjoys going for walks and saying hello to pretty much everyone he sees. If you happen to catch Jack out on his walks he may be enjoying the sunshine or he may be working on his new training.

“Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something.”
