Recycling Delays
Thankfully our recycling pickup came last week on Saturday. The trash and recycling dumpster room was almost full to the brim. Unfortunately, the same situation is happening this week without a pickup. I have called Global Disposal about our recycling crew. It turns out that many of the recycling pickup drivers have contracted Covid and it is greatly impacting the company’s ability to regularly visit their normal routes. An additional recycling pickup is going to come tomorrow. Maria is doing her best to keep the recycling bins empty. It is a great help to the onsite staff when everyone recycles on their respective parking floor and breaks down their boxes.
Power Outage SDGE
Some of you may recall the previously scheduled power outage that was back in December. The power outage was canceled last minute, but that information was not relayed to everyone who was going to be impacted (including everyone at Coral Tree Plaza). Well, it looks like the work has been rescheduled for next weekend. The work is supposed to take place overnight from January 21st to the 22nd from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. Thankfully all of our backup power systems are working and in good condition. Please prepare for delays when using the elevators in the buildings because only one elevator will be working to get up to the floors of each building, the garage elevators will continue to function normally.
