LockBoxes:

Recently I have noticed that some of the lockboxes attached to the back wall at the above-ground parking lot have individual unit numbers and addresses/names on them. I wanted to just take a moment and advise any owners with lockboxes on the back gate to consider removing their names and/or unit numbers from the lockbox. You can never be too careful when it comes to your safety and security. The lockbox is an excellent tool to help when you are not able to let a contractor or real estate agent into the building or your unit. However, in the past lockboxes have been taken from our property and surrounding properties. So I would caution owners to perhaps use a number or some type of symbol on their lockbox instead of an identifier which someone could use to get into the building and ultimately your unit.

Onsite Office Staffing:

I will be out of the office on September 28th and returning to the office on October 11th. I will be working remotely beginning on the 4th until I can return to the onsite office. In the time that I am away from the property, my Senior Manager Kelly Thomson will be sitting in the onsite office in case anyone needs anything. I have been working with the Board, Pro-Tec, and PMS Janitorial to set up the two weeks I am out so that there are no major projects or needs onsite. Kelly is an excellent Senior Manager with loads of experience, she is here to assist and fill in for me while I am unable to perform as General Manager. I do look forward to returning and seeing all of you onsite again. So please don’t miss me TOO much while I am out. I promise I’ll come back for you all.

CC&R Meeting:

Next week on Wednesday, September 29th starting at 5:00 pm, the CC&R amendment meeting is going to be held virtually via Zoom. A BIG thank you to all who stepped up and turned in their ballots. I was able to get into contact with many owners directly and all of them were more than happy to turn in their ballots. We now have a much higher quorum count than before and I believe that we are looking very good for this amendment meeting. I will still be out of the office and unable to work next week, so the meeting is going to be held through my Zoom account, but Kelly will be hosting the meeting. Ace Inspectors are Coral Tree’s inspectors of election. They have collected the ballots and will open them via Zoom. Just a friendly reminder, this is not a meeting of the Board it is a meeting of the membership. So the Board may choose to attend or not but they are not required. No Board business will be conducted at the meeting, only opening ballots. For those that are interested in the meeting, please see the below login information.
