Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update
Happy Friday Coral Tree Plaza
Clubs are Back!:
The Bridge and Yoga clubs have begun meeting again. So if you enjoy a good game of bridge or getting your morning stretch on. Please consider swinging by the clubhouse to hang out with your neighbors and get to know the good folks of Coral Tree Plaza. The Yoga Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday in the clubhouse at 9:30 am. A yoga mat or towel is recommended, and a strap is also helpful for stretching. The Bridge Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm in the clubhouse. If you have questions about either club please reach out to me and I will connect you with the club members
Monday, July 5th:
A couple of very important notes about this upcoming Monday. It is a federally observed holiday meaning that the onsite office will be closed, Victor and Maria will be taking the day off. Most importantly- there is no construction or remodeling permitted whatsoever. I have to reiterate that there is no work allowed on Monday. I have spoken with the contractors working in each unit and they have confirmed with me that they are not planning on doing any work Monday in observance of the holiday. The onsite team will resume a normal work schedule starting on Tuesday. Just as a friendly reminder, if you should need to get in touch with someone for an emergency (flood, fire, leak, etc.) please contact me by calling the after-hours line at (800) 400-2284.
East Building Callbox:
Last night the Board of Directors approved the installation of new callboxes in both buildings. The Board went through a thorough review of different callbox options. These new callboxes are going to be more user-friendly and will also have touch screens, making it much easier for guests to call owners to be buzzed into the building. Our security company has begun ordering the parts for the installation of the callboxes. When we get closer to switching to the new call box system, I will send out detailed instructions on the callbox so that everyone knows what to do when guests arrive.
Tree Trimming:
I have begun scheduling tree trimming with MSE. The two proposals from MSE were also approved last night at the Board meeting. We will complete tree trimming in two different sweeps. This is because some trees need to be trimmed during warmer months and some need to be trimmed in the colder months. For example, the pine trees that surround the tennis court cannot be trimmed in the warm months. The sap from the trimming will run down into the tennis court or onto the parking garage ramp leaving a mess. So I will start putting together the schedule for our “warm” tree trimming and let you all know when that is slated to begin.
Fob Audit:
I know that all of you have been missing the annual fob audit. It’s by far the most exciting part of the year without a doubt. For those who have not been at the community during a fob audit, the process is relatively simple. Once a year the onsite manager will collect the ID numbers on the fobs assigned to each unit. Any fobs not reported to me are turned off, that way no fobs are left out in circulation that could be used to break into the building or the bike cage. The fob ID numbers are etched on directly. If you have questions about identifying your fob, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
So this year if you would please send me an email with the following information that would be great.
