Town Hall Next Week:

The Board of Directors has called a town hall meeting for next week on Wednesday at 7:00 pm via Zoom. This town hall is an opportunity for anyone interested in the CC&R amendments. As a friendly reminder, anytime the association makes amendments to the CC&R’s, the membership must vote on the matter. Coral Tree Plaza must amend the CC&R’s to meet the new statutory requirements for rental restrictions. The town hall will be on Wednesday, June 9th at 6:00 pm. Please see the below information for the Zoom meeting login.

Trash Chute Clogged:

Once again I have to request that all owners please be considerate when throwing items down the trash chute. Anything oversized is going to get stuck in the chute and back up the trash from floors above. If you are having a hard time getting your trash bag through the trash chute door, it’s a pretty good guess that it won’t make it down the chute. So just remember that large Styrofoam and oversized items should be broken down before tossed down. Victor, Maria, and I would all greatly appreciate not having to clear out the trash chute.

Cox Communication Work:

Today the Cox Communication team has been working throughout the East and West building to begin setting in place the infrastructure for faster internet connections and speed. They have been working in the telecommunication closets installing new hardware that will upgrade the existing lines to fiber optic. They will need to come back next week and periodically do more work As I noted earlier this week, the association will likely experience periodic downtimes with internet and cable connections. Please be patient as the Cox technicians work on our phone lines. Some of you may not be aware, but they are working on the original phone lines that were installed when the building was built. Sometimes it can take a little longer than normal to work on the lines here at Coral Tree Plaza.

West Building Construction:

In recent weeks, many new owners have submitted architectural requests to make improvements to their units. As the architectural approvals have begun to roll through, the work has also started. Throughout next week two units will be working on tile and demolition. Please anticipate period noise interruptions while the remodels are going on. As the work progresses and if there are other loud days of construction I will notify the community. Thank you all for your patience and understanding as these new owners do their best to make quick work and to make Coral Tree Plaza their new home.
