Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update
Happy Friday Coral Tree Plaza
Garage Ramp Close Calls:
In the past several weeks I have noticed a few near misses from cars entering and exiting the garage ramp. So just please remember to let cars coming down the ramp in first, they have the right of way. When you are leaving at the top of the ramp, please use your blinker so that anyone about to turn down into the garage knows where you are heading. I understand that with the lanes being on the opposite side, it can at times be confusing to navigate the garage. A good practice is always to take it slow and just try to remember that there are folks walking and parking throughout the garage.
Guest Suites Reopening Soon:
A few weeks back I sent out a notice to the community that the guest suites would reopen on June 1st. We are still on track for this opening date. If anyone is interested in renting out the guest suites please send me an email of the dates you are interested in and I will be happy to let you know if they are available. I have walked through the guest suites with Professional Maintenance Systems and our account manager Oscar Medina. We discussed the sanitization schedule between rentals and how to best keep the area clean. The association will maintain a robust cleaning schedule between guest suite rentals. I would also ask that if you or your guests are showing any symptoms such as a fever, please do not use the guest suite.
Town Hall June 9th:
The Board of Directors will be holding a town hall on June 9th from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The town hall is going to be virtually held. It is an opportunity for owners to come and learn about the proposed CC&R amendments. These amendments affect the rental restrictions at the association and the pet restrictions written into the CC&R’s. All of the membership need to vote on the CC&R amendments that are being proposed. The new civil code requires associations to make this change for rental restrictions, but the Board cannot do this without your help. So to better educate the community about this ballot measure, the Board has decided to hold a town hall that will be open for owners.
Board Meeting:
Next week is the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors. If you are interested in attending this meeting you must be an owner of the association. Below I have put in the Zoom meeting information. As a quick note- once it is safe to congregate inside of the clubhouse and have in-person meetings, the Board will be doing so. For right now, there are still mask mandates and strict restrictions in San Diego about gatherings. So we will continue to meet virtually until permitted to meet in person.
