Weekly Update 4/30/21
Posted By on January 5, 2022
Dear Coral Tree Plaza Resident(s),
What a year it has been since the pandemic hit the United States. I would like to applaud the community for responding so appropriately and acting responsibly when it came to the community safety. There was potential for an outbreak within the community and thankfully we avoided it through your hard work and dedication to social distancing, wearing masks, and sanitizing your hands.
As we start to enter a new phase of vaccinations, the association is primed and ready to get back to our regular routine. Below you will find the answers to questions you might have about where we are with the reopening process.
Pool: The pool is now open without any of the temporary rules in place. You are welcome to use the pool and bring your guests to the pool to enjoy the nice summer sun. There will be no pool parties allowed. Please also bear in mind that not everyone is yet vaccinated. So I strongly recommend that you continue to exercise caution when interacting with others, not from your unit. The CDC has officially announced that vaccinated people can gather outside in small groups without masks.
Guest Suites: The guest suites are finally reopening! The Board and I are working on some changes to the guest suites to meet the requirements for sanitation. The guest suites will be reopened for use beginning on June 1st. The suites are going to be a little bit different than before. To meet sanitation requirements there will be an additional cleaning fee attached to each rental. It will be the direct and additional costs required to open suites between guests. This amount has not yet been established, it is under development. This fee is the direct cost of what it will take to have the rooms sanitized and cleaned by Professional Maintenance Systems – the association’s janitorial service. The linens, pillows, and mattress pads will also be removed from the guest suites. Owners are responsible for supplying their guests with pillows, linens, and any toiletries necessary. You must bring a mattress topper/protector. Please note that mattress pads are required. Any damage to the mattresses will be the responsibility of the renting party.
Gym: Gym openings commercial and otherwise are tied to ventilation system requirements, ceiling height, and more. The Coral Tree Plaza gym will remain closed for now. Once we receive the green light to open the campus in full and the county goes back to pre Covid activity, we will open the gym in its entirety.
Association Care:
Hallway and Carpet Cleaning: I have begun scheduling our next round of carpet and hallway tile cleaning. With each vendor that comes out to the property to work on the common area, the association will conduct screening each day to check that none of the workers are experiencing COVID-related symptoms, or have come from a household wherein there is an active case of COVID. Jesse and his crew will be out in the next few weeks to clean the hallways.
Window Washing: I am very happy to tell you all that we are also going to be scheduling window washing as soon as possible. Javier and his crew are starting to book up now that properties are beginning to wash their windows as well. So I will get the association put on the schedule as soon as possible and notify the community when the window washing is scheduled. It should be noted that if you are not comfortable having your windows washed at this time, you do not need to permit the crew to enter. If you would rather wait until the next round of window washing, this is acceptable. Please just notify me via email so that I can tell the crew working onsite to skip your unit.
Dryer Duct Cleaning: VentPros has missed you as much as you have missed them. They are putting together the signup sheet for the association right now. Keep an eye out for the signup email in the next few days for your opportunity to get your dryer vents cleaned.
If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via phone or email. I would be happy to speak about this.
Respectfully,
Tyler Boelts
