Happy Friday Coral Tree Plaza
SDGE:
This week SDGE was able to successfully install the new gas lines in the cul de sac and also replace the gas line meter in the vault of the above ground parking lot. Thank you all so much for your patience with me and with SDGE. You may notice that there are still large plates covering a significant portion of the cul de sac. The cul de sac will be backfilled and covered with asphalt. SDGE is working with contractors to schedule this work. They will also be repairing the original cuts in the above-ground parking lot ramp where the trenching was first scheduled to be.
Thanksgiving Schedule:
Next week the onsite office will only be open on Monday and Tuesday. The office will be closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for the holiday. Victor and Maria will be onsite Monday through Wednesday next week. If you have any questions or concerns while the office is closed. Please contact the Action phone line at 800-400-2284.
Keeping the Kitchen Stack Clean:
For many of you, this will be your first year celebrating Thanksgiving in a high-rise condominium. It is an exciting time and the building is always a happy place to be. I would like to remind everyone that the kitchen waste line drains are all shared waste lines. Meaning that whatever someone throws down the drain on the 15th floor, goes down past all the neighbors below. When cooking with grease or making something like gravy, please do not pour this down the sink when you are done. The grease and the oils are liquid when hot, but they congeal and become solids when cooled down. This causes blockages in the waste line. ultimately this translates to needing more frequent kitchen stack cleanouts. So far the association has done an excellent job of maintaining these waste lines and we have not needed drain cleanouts as often as other associations. So please keep up the good work and refrain from throwing food waste down your disposal!
Pool Heater:
I know so many of you are anxious to get back into the pool. Victor has been taking the lead and working with our pool vendor to make sure that the installation of the heaters goes as smoothly as possible on Monday. The work is scheduled to begin on Monday. Keep in mind that both of the heaters are being replaced so it’s not a guarantee that work will be done on Monday. I have asked that the pool heater be installed first so we can get that back online for everyone as quickly as possible. I appreciate the patience from everyone on this matter.
