Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update

Happy Friday Coral Tree Plaza

Neighborhood Reminder: Meeting Next Week!

It is time again for the Coral Tree Plaza Board of Directors meeting. The meeting will be held virtually next week on Wednesday, March 31st at 5:30 pm. I invite all owners interested to attend. To attend the meeting please go to:

www.Actionlife.zoom.us

Meeting ID: 224 695 2383

Meeting Password: 36343635

For the foreseeable future, we will continue to meet virtually. While I understand the desire to gather once again down in the clubhouse, Zoom offers the association the opportunity to meet virtually. Meaning you can attend the homeowner open forum while wearing your pajamas in the comfort of your own home. There are certainly some silver linings to the virtual meeting, and I look forward to the chance to see everyone in person once again.

Balcony Plants and Care:

As a reminder to everyone, please take care of your balcony with your neighbors below in mind. There are a few units that have found overflowed water/liquid on their balconies from the ones up above. If you have potted plants, please ensure that there are drip trays. If and when you are cleaning your balcony, please do not sweep everything off the edge. A resident down below you may have a window open and catch the dust and debris falling. So please be aware of your surroundings when cleaning your balconies.

Garage Roll Down Door:

Next week on Wednesday, March 31st. The fire roll-down door in the garage will be replaced. Some of you may recall that we had originally intended to replace this door in the fall of 2020. The custom-ordered door arrived but did not meet the correct dimensions of our garage. So we had to re-order the door. This door is important because what it does is automatically roll down and seal off the first floor of parking from the second/third parking levels. These are required by the city and act as a barrier from letting fire move up into the rest of the garage. The installation of the door will be extensive. The door must be brought in with a forklift. The work will take 8 hours to complete. Residents will be able to come and go for the most part. However, there will be roughly an hour or so where the old door is removed and the new door is being installed. In that window of time, residents will not be able to drive through from P2 or P3 up to P1.

Priority Doors will be working on the installation. When they get to the point of needing to shut down the ramp completely I will notify the community. They do not yet have a firm time frame for when they are going to need to shut down the access because they are not sure how long it will take to get the door down into the garage.

If you need to ensure that you can leave during the day, please consider utilizing the guest parking on P1 as a temporary space during the garage door replacement. I will send out another notice to the ownership about this next week.

This week I do not have a quote for the community. Instead, I will say this- having grown up in Boulder Colorado, this week has been difficult and heartbreaking. I have a newfound appreciation for the community here at Coral Tree Plaza and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to work here at a place with such amazing people. In light of the past two weeks, I will simply put this.
