Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update

Happy Friday Coral Tree Plaza

Hello Coral Tree Plaza Residents!

Neighborhood Reminder: Smoking on Balconies

Many residents have been keeping their windows open in the afternoon and early evening to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. The fresh air and sunshine have been spoiled on multiple occasions by people smoking on balconies at the building. This ruins the fun for everyone else. I’ve said it once. I will say it again. Please do not smoke on your balcony or anywhere in the common area. The only common area location that is used for smoking, is the area directly beside the clubhouse next to 6th avenue. If you are interested in smoking within your unit, it must be done inside with all of the windows and doors closed. If you have guests or vendors who want to smoke, please direct them to the previously mentioned area next to the clubhouse.

Watch Your Step!:

Each building has three elevators. Just about every single resident uses the elevators to come and go every single day. Please always watch your step when you are coming and going out of the elevator. There is a slight gap between the elevator and the hallway. So one misstep could result in an injury. Other times, residents drop their keys down the elevator shaft. The elevator shaft is one of the few locations that the onsite team is not allowed to access. So to retrieve any items dropped down the elevator shaft, an elevator technician must come out and access the elevator room to retrieve the keys.

West Building Updates:

Unfortunately, a few different components of the West building need repair. The callbox motherboard was sent to the manufacturer in Canada for inspection and repair. After speaking with the distributor earlier this week, I was informed that the parts were stuck in customs for a short period but the callbox motherboard is now in the possession of the manufacturer and will be coming back to us shortly.

Additionally, the latch mechanism on the inner lobby door of the West building that leads into the mailroom needs repairs. I have walked this job with a door vendor who needs to order push latches that will work with our fob system. As soon as possible this work will be completed. Thank you to all who notified me of this needed repair.

Board Meeting Next Week:

Next week the Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday, July 29 at 5:30 pm via Zoom Teleconference. The meeting ID is available on the agendas posted in both lobbies. Please contact me directly for the meeting password. Please contact me no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 28.

Stay safe.
