Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update
Happy Thursday Coral Tree Plaza
Hello Coral Tree Plaza Residents!
This week the update comes to everyone a day early because tomorrow the onsite office will be closed for the holiday weekend. Here are a few quick updates at the property.
Neighborhood Reminder: Keep the Pool Safe
As we enter into the holiday weekend, I want to briefly remind all residents to respect and adhere to the pool rules. Please note that the rules are posted in both lobbies, and at the pool. There are pre-marked locations for chairs at the pool. Here are a few quick reminders about the pool area (please see the posted rules for the full list)
-Daily pool hours are 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
-Do not enter the pool area if you have come into contact with anyone experiencing or exhibiting symptoms of COVID19
-Pool use is limited to residents only
-No more than 8 residents may be in the pool area at any given time
If you see that the pool is at capacity this weekend, please do not enter the pool area. The county is carefully watching and shutting down condominium complex pools that are not following the health orders of the county.
Onsite Team Off:
In observance of the 4th of July, Pro-Tec Maintenance Services and Action Property Management will be off tomorrow, July 3rd. This means that Justin and I will not be on site until Monday, July 6th. Maria and PMS will be onsite and continually cleaning throughout the weekend. For any who may want to inquire about the onsite team hours they are as follows:
Pro-Tec Building Services (Justin): 7:30 am – 3:30 pm Mon-Fri
PMS (Maria): 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Mon-Fri
PMS (Weekend Crew): 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Sat/Sun
Action Property Management (Tyler): 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Mon-Fri
Door Handles:
Over the next few weeks, Grah Locksmith will be onsite working with Justin to replace the door handles on each floor in the communication closets / electric meter closets. These closets are currently keyed with all different keys. This makes it very difficult for the fire department to access them all quickly. The closets need to be re-keyed with SDGE accessible locks so that electricians and SDGE certified vendors can access the closet, as well as emergency response personnel. These new handles are also ADA compliant and will match the stairwell handles that are being installed in both buildings.
Smoke Detectors:
This week you may have seen some of the SD Fire Department on site. Thankfully there was no fire onsite and the firefighter crew response was swift. The fire department was notified by one of the smoke detectors going off in the garage. The smoke detectors installed throughout the property are photoelectric and can mistake dust or strong chemicals for smoke. System Specialist came to the property this week and cleaned out the smoke detectors in the garage, where the detectors had the highest buildup of dust. System Specialist also provided Justin with several detector covers. These covers are to place over the detector only when strong chemicals will be present by the detector or when dust is going to be in the air. Typically this only happens during renovations. If you are planning any work in your unit and your contractor says they are going to use any material that may set off the smoke detectors, please notify me and Justin so that we may cover the detectors.
