Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update
Happy Friday Coral Tree Plaza
Neighborhood Reminder: Send in audit docs
At the open board meeting last month, the Board of Directors voted to accept and mail out the results of the 2019 audit completed by Sonnenberg CPA. Within the mailer that you received, a yellow piece of paper was included. That piece of paper is a request for an annual address. Please take a moment and fill out this document and send it back to the CTP office (or drop it off if you are here!). While you are filling out the document and sending it back, please also send a copy of proof of insurance for your unit. Section 9.6 of the CC&Rs states “Owners are required to ensure their personal property against loss and obtain personal liability insurance covering the contents of their individual units…” Please provide documentation of your insurance to the onsite office so I can ensure that units comply with the governing documents.
With great power comes great responsibility:
If you have not yet had a moment to review the email sent out earlier today regarding the pool opening, please take a moment to do so. The document has also been attached to this email for your convenience. Some key things to note here. If the pool is open and residents are not respecting the posted rules, the pool can and will likely be closed. The County of San Diego has informed associations that if they are not following the reopening guidelines, pools in violation will be shut down for no less than one month.
As a respectful reminder, the association will only succeed with keeping the pool open if every pool user commits to using the pool amenity safely. The pool is a wonderful asset to the community and a place that many enjoy spending time during the day. Without access to the pool, multiple residents do not have access to their means of exercise. So please be respectful when using the pool and follow the posted guidelines.
Pod placement on Monday:
On Monday, June 22nd the East side of the above-ground parking lot will be closed off. The area is going to be closed off for a move-out. The resident needs to be able to stage and load up their furniture in the POD that will be placed in the parking lot. This area will only be closed during business hours on Monday. The spaces will be available on Tuesday.
Board meeting on Wednesday 24th via Zoom:
The next board meeting is upon us! Next week on Wednesday, June 24th starting at 5:00 pm the Coral Tree Plaza Board of Directors will convene via Zoom. If you are interested in attending the meeting and would like the Zoom password, please email me directly for this password no later than Tuesday, June 23rd at noon. Should you or any resident require assistance setting up a Zoom account, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I would be more than happy to assist and set this up for you or someone else.

Wear Masks in Common Area – Governor Newsom said so:
Governor Gavin Newsom has issued a statewide executive order calling for all Californians to wear masks when going outside. Please wear your mask when you are in common areas and anywhere on the property that is not your unit. It has been proven that wearing a mask reduces the risk of transmitting the disease. By wearing your mask, you are keeping not only your neighbors safe but everyone that they come into contact with as well. It only works if we all work it. So please do your part and wear a mask.
CTP Reader’s Corner:
This is my last message to you, for now. My objective has been to provide some recently published reading that you might not have seen yet, during the preliminary stages of the challenging Covid19 period. If we are once again incarcerated at CTP, I’ll be back. In the interim, I appreciate all the kind comments about this addition to Tyler’s weekly messages. Finally, for those of you with whom I’ve thus connected, I just finished and highly recommend Latiff, Future War: Preparing for the New Global Battlefield (Vintage, 2018).
