Coral Tree Plaza Weekly Update
Happy Friday Coral Tree Plaza
Friendly Neighbor Reminder: Shelter in Place
For the foreseeable future, California will remain under the shelter in place order. With everyone home and living in their unit, please remember to be courteous and conscious of those around you. So if you smoke, do so inside your unit with all the windows and doors closed, or out next to the clubhouse by 6th avenue. No smoking in elevators, on balconies, or in common areas permitted. As you are all aware, noise can travel in strange ways throughout the building. So please do not partake in loud activities during the early morning or in the evening. Everyone is home and everyone can hear you.
Onsite Team Unit Policy:
During the pandemic, the Coral Tree Plaza staff cannot enter units unless there is an emergency. Professional Maintenance Systems, ProTec, and Action have informed the onsite team that they cannot enter units unless it is an emergency. So please do not ask any of the onsite staff to enter your unit for any reason. This is for your safety and for theirs. If you are unsure about whether or not you have an emergency in your unit, please contact me directly first. I will then dispatch the team into your unit if necessary.
Masks:
San Diego County has issued an order for all essential employees who work with the public to wear masks. Maria, Justin, and I are all going to be wearing masks when here onsite at the property. I would strongly encourage every owner to wear a mask whenever they leave their unit. I leave a mask by the door at home as a reminder for me whenever I leave.
Got Groceries?:
This week a few different grocery deliveries have gotten mixed up between the two buildings. Residents in the West building had groceries delivered that were supposed to go to the East building. When this happens, please call the onsite office and let us know. We will take the groceries and deliver them to the correct unit in PPE gear. As a recommendation, inform your food delivery person that there are two buildings at the property and to look for the numbers atop the lobby doors for the differentiation between the two.
Maintenance Update:
This week Justin and Victor replaced the light switches in the clubhouse bathrooms, adjusted the settings of the planter irrigation, removed extra furniture / unwanted items in the storage locker areas, refilled hand sanitizing dispensers, and assisted Global Power to run the backup generator for a load test.
This week I am leaving you all with a TED Talk from 2011. I saw this video about a virtual choir of 2,000 voices. I was as you are now, skeptical about how a choir can come together online. But as I watched the video I began to see the true potential of humans. We are capable of finding and creating light in just about any situation. Remember that as you stay home this weekend.
Stay safe.
